Beta Delta Epsilon Afro-Latina Sorority was established February 27th 2009 at the State University of New York at Delhi. Beta Delta Epsilon gained recognition in spring of 2011.We are 50 sisters strong and currently have 18 sisters here on campus.
We were inspired by the brothers of Beta Sigma Kappa, Afro-Latino Fraternity Inc. from State University at Buffalo.
Our colors are purple, teal, black, and gold.
Our symbols are the women symbol, the crown, the bee, and the fist.
The purpose of Beta Delta Epsilon is to establish a strong sisterhood of benevolent empowered women, diversity, scholars and future business women of tomorrow.
Our founding mother is Denise Carela, who is proud of how we have grown over the years and all that we have accomplishments as a sorority.
