Alpha Chapter History
Beta Delta Epsilon Afro-Latina Sorority, Inc. was founded February 27th, 2009 at Suny Delhi University by founding mother Denise Carela, with the help of co-founders Danjela Nika and Angelica Campbell. Beta Delta Epsilon Afro-Latina Sorority, Inc. was inspired by the brothers of Beta Sigma Kappa Afro-Latino Fraternity, Inc. at the State University at Buffalo. In the Spring of 2011, the sorority was officially recognized by the university.
Beta Colony History
The Beta Colony of Beta Delta Epsilon Afro-Latina Sorority, Inc. was established in the Fall of 2015. Our determined sister Chatea Lindsay also known as sister Devorah was on the search for empowered women to carry out our legacy in Buffalo, NY. As Sister Devorah continued her searched, she found an astonishing woman eager to uphold the values and purpose of Beta Delta Epsilon Afro-Latina Sorority, Inc. Kyonna Destinee Stevens, Founding Mother pledged as a solo, to create the Beta Colony of Beta Delta Epsilon Afro-Latina Sorority, Inc.
